Rediscover The Concept of Principle
"I have a higher and grander standard of principle than George Washington. He could not lie; I can, but I won't" - Mark Twain
Mark Twain's comment reflects the understanding of a different age, an age where absolutes were still respected.
"We cannot but be astonished at the ease with which men resign themselves to ignorance about what is most important for them to know; and we may be certain that they are determined to remain invincibly ignorant if they once come to consider it as axiomatic that there are no absolute principles." - Claude Frederic Bastiat
Perhaps the curious relativistic world of modern western powers is just the result of arrogance born from years of success. - If so this ignorance may soon pass away.
Prepare yourself.
Truth is at a premium for it is scarce.
Value is unknown for price determines all.
Education is lost, for it has become a tool of indoctrination.
Learning is ignored, for the schools exist not for knowledge, but to acquire a job.
Take time to think, and then perhaps reorder you life toward a very different future than most have imagined.
Life is not linear.
