Logic, Life, and Hmmm
Ya gotta go hmmm. - (from my sister)
You are driving down the road on a wild, stormy night. You approach a bus stop and see three people waiting:
- An old lady - who looks as if she is about to die.
- An old friend - who once saved your life.
- The perfect partner - you have been dreaming about.
Which one would you offer a ride, knowing there can only be one passenger in your sports car.
This moral/ethical dilemma was actually used as part of a job application.
- You could pick up the old lady, because she may die, and thus you should save her first.
- You could take the old friend because he once saved your life, and this would be the perfect chance for a partial pay back.
- However - you may never be able to find your perfect mate again.
Think about it before you continue reading.
The candidate who was hired (out of 200 applicants) had no trouble coming up with the perfect answer. He simply said: - (answer will be in comments below)

Tempting to let you guess first.
Oh well:
"I would give the car keys to my friend and let him take the old lady to the hospital. I would stay behind and wait for the bus with the partner of my dreams."
Allan
Hey Allan,
Thanks for the encouragement. I figure the apology should be as public as the offense.
Peace,
